Reptilia Reptile Zoo

Description

Reptilia’s Amazing Reptile Zoo!
Visit Canada’s largest fully indoor reptile zoo displaying over 250 reptiles in a state of the art 25,000 square foot CAZA-accredited facility. You'll see large exhibits showcasing hundreds of different reptiles and amphibians. Watch our Cast at work in the lab, our food preparation area, and the venomous workshop! Every day there are opportunities to interact with the animals and learn from Cast Members during shows, tours and animal feedings.

With four reptile feedings every day, free live theatre shows or zoo keeper tours and a chance to interact with the reptiles and the Zoo Cast, Reptilia is a destination worth visiting.

Feeding Schedule
Part of the excitement of visiting Reptilia is witnessing a reptile eating its meal right before your eyes! See a python grab and wrap, an alligator jump and snap, a monitor lizard dash up and down trees or a viper strike with tremendous speed and inject its venom from inches away! Feedings occur four times daily, led by expert zookeepers. All vertebrate prey has been humanely euthanized before arriving at Reptilia.

Reptile Camps
At Reptilia camps, kids can hand-feed a gecko, help hold one of the world’s largest snakes, or cheer on their favourite hard-shelled competitor in our legendary turtle race! It’s an experience of a lifetime. Campers discover new friendships while learning about the importance of the coolest animals on Earth. From exclusive back stage zoo tours, live animal encounters, basic zookeeping skills, to arts & crafts, the program nurtures interactivity while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for kids aged 4-12.

Birthday Parties
Whether at the zoo or at home, the Reptilia professional hosts and reptiles will amaze and entertain guests of all ages. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the show!

Special Appearances
Reptilia appears at many events throughout the year. Shows and programs are available for community centers, business openings, retirement residences, get-togethers, libraries, fairs, and mall events– among many others!

Education Programs
The Reptilia Education Program is dedicated to providing a real connection for students between the Ontario Science Curriculum and the world around them, fostering a sense of responsibility, and understanding, empowering the students to grasp critical concepts and formulate their own questions.
