Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum

Description

The Sharon Temple National Historic Site encompasses 9 historic buildings in a park-like setting centred around the Temple. It was completed in 1832 by the Children of Peace, key players in the development of Canadian democracy & social justice, who created Canada’s first cooperative & credit union. The Temple makes a dramatic architectural statement & is a National Historic Site.
