In the spirit of Bernard Shaw, the Shaw Festival provokes the mind and stirs the soul through a theatre experience so compelling that, year after year, ever broadening groups of artists, audiences and supporters are drawn to our work in Niagara-on-the-Lake and beyond.

The Festival presents plays in five distinctive theatres: the Festival Theatre - The Shaw's flagship theatre, the historic Court House Theatre where The Shaw first began performing, the Royal George Theatre, modeled after an Edwardian opera house, the Studio Theatre, the home of our contemporary Shavians in our 175-seat most intimate space and our new Studio Underground. All theatres are within a short walking distance of each other.

Once you've made plans to attend the Shaw Festival Theatre, you will find hundreds of reasons to linger; so here's a little help in planning your Niagara-on-the-Lake vacation.
