  •  Add to Calendar 2017-11-26 2017-11-26 America/Toronto Art Exchange: Artist Trading Card Sunday, November 26 | 2 – 4PM | $5 Markham Food Bank donation This event, in support of The Markham Food Bank, brings creative people together to share ideas, trade cards, build a unique collection of miniature art, and view the current exhibition while supporting a worthwhile cause with a recommended $5 donation. What are Trading Cards? Trading Cards, similar in size to hockey or baseball cards, are original little works of art, created in any medium - drawing, painting. Collage, textile, original prints, mixed media - as long as they are the specified 2.5" x 3.5". 2:00pm-2:30pm: Registration and set-up 2:45pm-3:30pm: Trading 3:30pm-4:00pm: Gallery visit and mix and mingle Guidelines: - Participants must be 16 years or older - Participants make a recommended $5 donation to The Markham Food Bank - Cards must be 2.5" x 3.5" (the size of a hockey or baseball card) and original work only. - No digital copies of larger work - Sign and date your card on the back. You may wish to include your contact information. - The more cards you make, the more you can trade (12 is a good start) Check out “Xiaojing Yan | Out from among the tranquil woods” and “Present | Perfect | Continuous” our galleries, show off your new collection, and chat with friends.
