What are YOU going to do this weekend?            June 18, 2012
Ready, set, go: getting out and active in Ontario

With the school year coming to a close and amazing summer weather finally here, we’re all looking for something fun to do.  But you don’t have to have kids to act like one! Anyone can enjoy these great places for an active, fun-filled day.

This place has everything! From the largest go-kart track in Eastern Ontario, to Ottawa’s only semi-aquatic golf course to mini-golf, basketball, beach volleyball and an arcade, there is something here for the young and young-at-heart.  Bring a picnic and relax on their patio when you’re done.

Have you got a need for speed? These shifter karts get you going up to 200km/hr.  If you need a few tips, they have a great 4 hour driving experience with starting, accelerating, shifting, braking, etc.

You know when people say it is like Xmas every day? At Santa’s village, it may be summer, but you can play all year round. Located in the heart of Muskoka, you can fill your day with go-karting, mini-golf, laser tag, batting cages and more. Tour the village by miniature train or cruise the Muskoka River on Santa’s Summer Sleigh Jet Boat.

When the summer heat gets to you, try sinking into a tube on the water and heading lazily down the river. Too relaxing? Get the adrenaline flowing on a 60’ waterslide or dry off and challenge friends & family to a race on the go-kart track or a mean game of mini-golf. A perfect way to spend the afternoon, or a few afternoons, at any age!

Whether you’re looking to speed up on the race track or slow down on the golf course, check out all the attractions across Ontario to keep you busy on these sunny, summer days.
