Autumn Adventures

This time of year is sunny and crisp, and it's the perfect season for venturing outdoors. The trees are starting to turn colour, and as the temperature drops a few degrees, an 8-hour hike becomes much more appealing! We've got plenty of ideas for weekend fun outside, and here are a few to get you started:

These folks offer specialized trips & guides for Wabakimi Provincial Park. The staff will help you plan, and are experts in canoe tripping and outpost fishing trips. You get to enjoy all the wild beauty of the park, and you know that you'll be safe and have a great time.

The thrill of off-road riding certainly is addictive! You can choose to ride dirt bikes, dual sport bikes, trials bikes, or ATVs, and you'll definitely find something that gets your heart pumping. The riding instructors will teach you how to get started, and with lots of different skill-level trails available, no previous experience is necessary.

This historical park has adrenaline-pumping activities for everyone! Challenges include a 25m zip line, a ropes course, suspended barrels, bridge jumps, line walks and a toboggan slide. It's family-friendly, but has plenty of attractions for the adult crowd too.

Ontario's outdoors have something to offer in all four seasons, but autumn around here just can't be beat. Grab your fleece, a water bottle and some sunscreen and plan an adventure this weekend! For more ideas, visit our Outdoor Adventures page.
