The fresh tastes & flavours that are available at this time of year are really incredible. Pay a visit to your local farmers’ market & not only will you satisfy your palate but you’ll support your local farmers. It’s win-win! We may have noted a few of the larger, older or more well-known ones in a few regions, but rest assured, there are markets in all regions, from the very large, to those boasting only a few stalls. Check the listings on Summer Fun Guide and also, look for postings in your area which advertise small, local markets which are starting to pop up everywhere from parking lots to shopping malls to gas stations. You can also visit Farmers' Markets Ontario for additional info on the wide range of markets around the province.
