Let’s face it, winter is long and cold in Ontario.  But that doesn’t mean we have to stay indoors!  We Ontarians are tough and one of the best ways to enjoy the season is with a great winter festival.  Of course, some hot chocolate never hurts!  By the way, this is our last newsletter before the Xmas holidays and New Year’s. We’d like to wish all of our readers a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year!  One more thing...Like us on facebook and email us that you did it (with your name and ph #) and we’ll enter you into a draw for a Tim Horton’s gift card.

From January 31-February 17th, Ottawa is the place to be!  Winterlude, Ottawa’s preeminent festival, is one of the best ways to celebrate winter.  Dress warmly and come to see the ice sculptures, a playground made of snow, performers and of course, skating on the Rideau Canal – the “world’s longest skating rink.”
Sault Ste. Marie embraces winter with this wonderful winter carnival.  It’s 10 days of fun for the whole family with events including a fantasy kingdom made out of ice, skating, a polar bear swim, performers, fun winter sports and more!
