Camping or RVing
All-Inclusive Family Resorts

Camping is a wonderful way to get away from it all & connect with family. Check out Camping in Ontario, a comprehensive list of parks, campgrounds & amenities around the province.  If you want to camp outdoors, but like a few luxuries (think heated pool, cabins & more), then Highland Pines Campground & RV Sales  is a great destination.  One of my personal favourite camping destinations is Algonquin Park.  Visit Algonquin Outfitters  to plan your perfect trip.   Finally, if RV-ing is your thing, check out Carefree RV Resorts Canada   for a list of Ontario RV resorts.
A wonderful & easy way to vacation with young children is to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Shamrock Lodge  on beautiful Lake Rosseau has kids’ programming, water & boating activities, tennis, nightly entertainment & more. Fern Resort  has activities for kids of all ages – from supervised kids’ activities, to tennis, swimming & golf. Bayview Wildwood Resort  is also a great option with its entertainment, sandy beach and water sports.

Ontario has several condo-style resorts that offer activities & the convenience of your own kitchen. Try Cranberry Golf Resort  for tennis, basketball, boating, swimming & a kids’ camp. Deerhurst Resort has a Splash Zone, golf, spa, Treetop Trekking, horseback riding, hiking, boating & a beach. Horseshoe Resort  & Carriage Ridge Resort at Horseshoe Valley  have tons of activities in addition to being situated right near the incredible Horseshoe Adventure Park  And finally, there’s Blue Mountain Resort, where the whole family can enjoy adventurous summer activities on the mountain.
Nottawasaga Inn Resort has golf for the adults, and the kids will love the 100 ft waterslide & the mini golf. Severn Lodge  has plenty of supervised kids’ activities, so grown-ups can have some alone time, but there are also opportunities to spend meaningful family time together.  Irwin Inn on Stoney Lake  also has supervised kids’ activities & lots of fun for the whole family, including fishing, waterskiing, wakeboarding & tubing.

Suite-style accommodations & Hotels
Cottage Style Resorts
This summer, explore an Ontario city or town while staying at a conveniently located and affordable suite-style accommodation or hotel. The Western Bed & Breakfast  is great for exploring London & the surrounding area. While in Ottawa, stay at the well-situated Cartier Place Suite Hotel & Residence  with special summer rates & a playground for kids.  The newly renovated Delta Toronto East  is a short drive to downtown Toronto, minutes from many major attractions & has a new indoor pool with a monster water slide. Finally, Stay RCC  has many reasonably priced & well-located suites all across the province – check them out because you are sure to find one near your destination.
Cottage style resorts offer the comfort (and convenience) of your own cottage while exploring the great outdoors – many are even nestled right on sandy beaches.  Evergreen Resort  on Lake Huron has different size cottages, lots of activities & plenty of sandy beaches to enjoy. In beautiful Manitoulin Island in Northern Ontario, try award-winning Gordon’s Park Eco Resort. Pine Vista Resort  is another award-winning spot located in the Kawarthas where there are private, fully equipped cabins & plenty of family friendly activities. For a luxurious stay in the heart of Algonquin Park, there’s Killarney Lodge  where you can enjoy the beauty of the park from the comfort of a first class resort.
