It is festival time across Ontario! Whatever your interest, from music & food, to art or even hot air ballooning, there will be a festival for you.  So get out your sunglasses, slap on the sunscreen and plan a day around one of these great events!

From July 11-14, you can float to the skies at the Cornwall Hot Air Balloon Festival.  If flying isn’t your thing, you can take in the sights as these majestic and often beautiful balloons soar through the air. Enjoy the fantastic concerts and visit the Children’s Carnival too.
Now 12th year, the Thunder Bay Bluesfest draws visitors from across Canada and the United States.  This year’s line-up includes: Collective Soul, Los Lobos, Great Big Sea and Los Lonely Boys.  July 5-7, 2013

From June 20-29, try the TD Toronto Jazz Festival which features incredible international and Canadian talent. If classical music is more your thing, from July 16-Aug 3, 2013, you can enjoy concerts, lectures, interviews, workshops, free outreach concerts and more at the Toronto Summer Music Festival
Cobourg does water & beach festivals very well!!  Two of the best are the Cobourg Waterfront Festival (June 29-July 1) where you can enjoy the craft show, entertainment and midway, and the Cobourg Sandcastle Festival (August 3rd, 2013) where you can see and create masterpieces made out of sand.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary is the Hamilton Fringe Festival.  This exciting 11 day live theater event is a unique opportunity for seasoned and emerging artists to work together in an accessible, informal environment where performers and audience often interact in the theater experience.  July 18-28, 2013
Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, this Festival is a must-attend event in downtown London. Enjoy performances by some of Canada’s finest singer/songwriters and get a chance to see works of art from around the country, including ceramics, jewellery, glass, textile and wood.  July 19-21, 2013
