We’ve finally made it through what felt like the longest winter ever and can now happily think about outdoor fun.  What better place to explore than the Sarnia-Lambton area – the region known as “Blue Water Country?”

This destination is the place to be when the weather turns warm.  With winding slides, speed slides, bumper boats & a lagoon pool, there’s so much fun to have in the water. If that’s not your thing, there’s also beach volleyball, mini-golf, picnic areas & snack bars.
The bees are busy at Munro Honey & Meadery as they celebrate their 100th anniversary.  During the summer you can see the bees in action and year round you can shop in the store for amazing honey & a variety of meads. Drop by on June 21st for their anniversary celebration with tours and delicious tastings!

The Hiawatha Horse Park is a one-stop shop for outdoor fun.  In addition to the horse races, there is also beach volleyball, golf, F-1 Karting, baseball diamonds and of course, a dining facility.  Check out the many events and races throughout the spring and summer.
What could be more relaxing than a stroll by the water to watch the boats go by?  If that’s your thing, then a visit to the Blue Water Bridge (connecting Sarnia to Port Huron, Michigan) would be a great destination.  We hear their “French Fry” trucks are pretty incredible too!

Pinery Provincial Park is one of the many gems of “Blue Water Country.”  This beautiful area is a unique ecosystem containing most of the remaining Oak Savana woodland left in North America sitting atop incredible sand dunes.  You can explore this area by foot on long hiking trails, paddle through the Old Ausable Channel, bike or relax on the beach.
Sarnia’s Stones ‘n Bones museum is a great way to spend an afternoon.  Whether you’re interested in dinosaurs, rare gems or artifacts, there is plenty to see with over 6,000 objects on display. Guided tours are also available to walk you through the collection, which also includes butterflies & insects, native Canadian artifacts, mounted wildlife, birds & fish and more.
