Hot Toronto Shopping Spots

By Sarah Wednesday, February 15, 2012

Shopping in Toronto is simply fantastic. Whether you are searching for a bargain or the hottest haute couture item, you will never go wrong in Toronto recognized internationally as one of the top ten shopping destinations shopping district.

Stop into the well known Toronto Eaton Centre which is located in the heart of downtown, Toronto.   It boasts 250 stores and is one of the largest shopping malls around. The four level, glass domed mall is great for a cold day, as it connects underground for easy access to parking.

Toronto’s Chinatown is one of the largest in North America. You can find clothing, household items and other fun items while enjoying the hustle and bustle of the colourful area.   Definitely stop in for some authentic Chinese food at one of the dozens of restaurants on Spadina or King Street.

Finally, check out Kensington Market, my personal favourite in the area.  If you’re tired of large, overcrowded shopping malls and big chain stores, you will delight in this best kept secret with retro shops, cafes, and other exotic stores. Kensington Market is also one of the few places in town which boasts a cannabis café.
