If you like to scream, we have a lot of scary things to do which will definitely make the hair on your neck stand up!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1076\" src=\"\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/article1_oct20_2016.jpg\" alt=\"article1_oct20_2016\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Halloween and Haunted Attractions<\/h4>\n<p>There are a bunch of attractions whose only reason for being is to scare the pants off of you! Some of them, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cliftonhill.com\/attractions\/ghost-blasters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Ghost Blasters Dark <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cliftonhill.com\/attractions\/ghost-blasters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Ride<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.houseoffrankenstein.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">House of Frankenstein<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nightmaresfearfactory.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Nightmares Fear Factory<\/a> Haunted house, both in Niagara Falls, are year round scary attractions, but there are also several that just operate a few weeks or month a year and for many of them, their objective is to get you to chicken out! Here are just a few: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canningtonhauntedtrail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Cannington Haunted Trail &amp; Maze<\/a> Oct 28-29 (Cannington).\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/screemers.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Screemers<\/a> in Toronto\u2019s Exhibition Place is Canada&#8217;s #1 indoor haunted scream park-October 21-23, 26-31. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scarehousewindsor.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Scare House Windsor<\/a> has 3 floors of terror in an old theatre. Oct 20-31.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1077\" src=\"\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/article2_oct20_2016.jpg\" alt=\"article2_oct20_2016\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Spooky Events<\/h4>\n<p>Some attractions around the province have special events or exhibitions around the Halloween Holiday and most are included with your attendance fee. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forthenry.com\/events\/fort-fright\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Fort Fright<\/a> Kingston gears up for fear and is open nightly from Oct 20.\u00a0 PumpkInferno Tunnel of Terror at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencenorth.ca\/promos\/halloween\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Science North<\/a> Sudbury is Canada&#8217;s only underground haunted house, 7 stories down! \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadaswonderland.com\/haunt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Halloween Haunt<\/a> at Canada\u2019s Wonderland is Canada&#8217;s largest haunted theme park, operating after the regular park closes. Admission is not included with the regular fees.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bingemans.com\/screampark\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Scream Park<\/a> Kitchener at Bingeman\u2019s bills itself as Canada\u2019s most terrifying Haunted attraction. And finally, for little guys, a gentle event at the Toronto Zoo &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.torontozoo.com\/events\/?pg=boozoo&amp;dt=2016-10-22#evt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Boo At The Zoo<\/a> \u2013 come in your costume!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1078\" src=\"\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/article3_oct20_2016.jpg\" alt=\"article3_oct20_2016\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Haunted Rides<\/h4>\n<p>Not all of the Halloween events are scary. Some, like many of the tourist and heritage trains around Ontario, offer special, themed Halloween excursions that are geared toward the younger crowd. The trains are usually decorated and ghosts, ghouls, and other entertainment for young and old roam the train cars. Halloween activities are included and young passengers are encouraged to come dressed up. Departures are usually in the early evening to accommodate young families and loot bags are often included. Visit Waterloo Central Railway\u2019s<a href=\"http:\/\/waterloocentralrailway.com\/haunted-halloween-dress-up-rides-oct-27-29-2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> Halloween Dress-Up Rides<\/a> October 27 &amp; 29, South Simcoe Railway\u2019s\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southsimcoerailway.ca\/cgi.bin?JOB=RR&amp;PG=1&amp;PP=halloween\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Haunted Hallowe&#8217;en Adventure<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; October 28\/29, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ydhr.ca\/trips-halloween.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">York Durham Heritage Railway<\/a> Oct 22 &#8211; Uxbridge\/Goodwood, and OCT 23, 29, 30 &#8211; Uxbridge\/Stouffville.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1079\" src=\"\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/article4_oct20_2016.jpg\" alt=\"article4_oct20_2016\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Ghost Tours<\/h4>\n<p>Some people believe that ghosts are around us all the time. Certain places are thought to actually be \u201chaunted\u201d and there are stories galore about strange sounds, doors opening and closing with no one around and more. Take a guided ghost tour, and hear the often tragic stories behind many ghosts\u2019 demise. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burlingtonghostwalks.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Burlington Ghost Walks<\/a> has several spooky spots on their tour. The <a href=\"http:\/\/hauntedwalk.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Haunted Walk<\/a> company has been showing people the darker side of Kingston, Ottawa &amp; Toronto for 20 years. Niagara-on-the-Lake is commonly referred to as Canada\u2019s most haunted town and much of the activity centers around Fort George National Historic Site. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.niagaraghosts.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Ghost Tours<\/a> of Niagara takes you there.
