We&#8217;re so fortunate to have an endless supply of things to do here in our amazing province. We&#8217;ve highlighted just a few ideas below.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Discover an Ontario Region:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"article1_may182017.jpg\" src=\"\/\/www.digitally-creative.com\/sfg\/es\/admin\/temp\/newsletters\/593\/article1_may182017.jpg\" alt=\"article1_may182017.jpg\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>Why not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/discover-ontario-places-to-explore.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">discover a region<\/a> or town you\u2019ve never been before? Southwestern Ontario has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.owensoundtourism.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Owen Sound<\/a>, which is celebrating its 160th birthday; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goderich.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Goderich<\/a> is called the prettiest town in Canada; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elgintourist.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Elgin County<\/a> has kilometres of gorgeous shoreline; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitkincardine.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Kincardine<\/a> is on beautiful Lake Huron, or follow Grassroots signs for highlights &amp; diversions in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmiddlesex.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Middlesex<\/a>. In Eastern Ontario, you can shop, eat, play &amp; stay in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stjacobs.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">St Jacobs Country<\/a>, and in Central, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.downtownmidland.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Downtown Midland<\/a> has glorious murals, and FREE parking!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Go Sightseeing!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"article2_may182017.jpg\" src=\"\/\/www.digitally-creative.com\/sfg\/es\/admin\/temp\/newsletters\/593\/article2_may182017.jpg\" alt=\"article2_may182017.jpg\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We forget sometimes that there are pretty cool attractions that are worth a visit, even if we aren\u2019t tourists. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skylon.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Skylon Tower<\/a> has breathtaking 360\u00ba views of Niagara Falls. Starting in August, you can walk or cycle through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brockvillerailwaytunnel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Canada&#8217;s First Railway Tunnel<\/a> (157 years old) in Brockville. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prideofcanada.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Pride of Canada Carousel<\/a> in GTA has 44 uniquely Canadian rideable sculptures. Or take a tour at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mint.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Royal Canadian Mint<\/a> and see collectible coins &amp; Olympic medals or hold a gold bar! Did you know Windsor is the busiest US\/Canada Border City?\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agw.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Art Gallery of Windsor<\/a> has 4000 works of art to appreciate there.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Outlet Shopping:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"article3_may182017.jpg\" src=\"\/\/www.digitally-creative.com\/sfg\/es\/admin\/temp\/newsletters\/593\/article3_may182017.jpg\" alt=\"article3_may182017.jpg\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While shopping is on many people\u2019s radar, we often return again and again to our favourite boutique or mall. Why not take a day and visit one of Ontario\u2019s outlet malls instead? We used to cross the border to visit outlets there, but now we have some of our own. There are so many well-known brands and the deals are crazy! Most also have a huge quantity and variety of stores with some places to refuel in the middle so you can keep going all day! Here are a few to check out: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.k-cap.com\/kingscrossing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">King\u2019s Crossing Outlet Mall<\/a> in Kingston has fashion outlets and wine too, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.windsorcrossing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Windsor Crossing Premium Outlets<\/a> is the only factory outlet in the area, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaughanmills.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre<\/a> in GTA is massive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outletcollectionatniagara.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Outlet Collection at Niagara<\/a> is Canada\u2019s largest open-air outlet mall.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Try Something Different:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"article4_may182017.jpg\" src=\"\/\/www.digitally-creative.com\/sfg\/es\/admin\/temp\/newsletters\/593\/article4_may182017.jpg\" alt=\"article4_may182017.jpg\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bowling, movies, going to the beach\u2026all fun, but why not try something a little out of the ordinary? Do you like to roll the dice? <a href=\"https:\/\/shorelinescasinos.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Shorelines Slots<\/a> has 3 Ontario locations with slots, table games and amazing food!\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railyardwakepark.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Rail Yard Wake Park<\/a> has Cable Wakeboarding, Wakeskating, Kneeboarding &amp; Tubing from a cable.
