It is so nice to take advantage of warm weather and do something fun outdoors! Ontario has loads of them, all over! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastparkgolf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">East Park London<\/a> has a state of the art Wave Pool &amp; 7 slide water park. <a href=\"https:\/\/okanaganwibit.com\/barrie-wibit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Splash On Water Parks<\/a> has Barrie &amp; Orillia waterfront locations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calypsopark.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Calypso Theme Waterpark<\/a> near Ottawa is Canada&#8217;s biggest waterpark &amp; has Canada\u2019s largest wave pools. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofkingston.ca\/waterpark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Kingston Aqua Park<\/a> has a 10-metre water slide, lazy river &amp; more. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wetnwildtoronto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wet\u2018N\u2019Wild Toronto<\/a> has something for all ages. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brantford.ca\/en\/things-to-do\/earl-haig-family-fun-park-brantford.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Earl Haig Family Fun Park<\/a> has waterslide, lazy river ride &amp; more. <a href=\"https:\/\/wild-waterworks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wild Waterworks<\/a> in Hamilton has Canada\u2019s largest outdoor wave-action pool &amp; four 5.5-storey tube slides. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bingemans.com\/bigsplash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Bingemans Big Splash<\/a> &amp; FunworX Indoor Playland Kitchener not only has Big Splash Waterpark, but mini golf and arcade too.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2030\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/article2_july112019.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Mini Golf &amp; Go-Karts<\/h2>\n<p>Mini golf and go-karting are activities in which adults and kids can participate together and both have fun. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildwaterwheels.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wild Water &amp; Wheels<\/a> Peterboro has a 1\/2 mile go-kart track, 18 hole mini golf &amp; a Pipeline Express Coaster. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasaga500.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wasaga 500 Family Entertainment Centre &amp; Go-Karts<\/a> has a 1.6KM High Banked Track and 2x 18 Hole Mini Golf Courses. <a href=\"http:\/\/balmbeachgokarts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Balm Beach Go-Karts<\/a> has 1\/2 mile paved track w\/ 24 Go-Karts &amp; 18 hole mini golf course.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adventure-village.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Adventure Village<\/a> has Mini Golf, Batting Cages, Krazy Kars, and even Gemstone Mining.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2029\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/article3_july112019.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Amusement Parks<\/h2>\n<p>We call something an amusement park when it has attractions, such as rides and games, as well as other entertainment activities. While there aren\u2019t that many true amusement parks in Ontario, the ones we\u2019ve got ROCK!\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centreisland.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Centreville<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.centreisland.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"> Amusement Park<\/a> is great for young children (see info in the Only in Ontario section below). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.storybook.london.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Storybook Gardens<\/a> in London is also perfect for young kids with its enchanted storybook-themed park. Owen Sound\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.storybookpark.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Story Book Park<\/a> has classic amusement rides plus waterpark and animals.\u00a0 The big daddy of them is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadaswonderland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Canada\u2019s Wonderland<\/a> just N of Toronto\u00a0 &#8211; it is Canada\u2019s Premier Amusement Park &amp; now has the world\u2019s fastest, tallest and longest dive roller coaster.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2028\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summerfunguide.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/article4_july112019.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"257\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Carousels<\/h2>\n<p>There is something really special about riding a carousel; it somehow brings you back to simpler times. There are several carousels in Ontario; almost all are REALLY old! <a href=\"https:\/\/downtownmarkham.ca\/community\/carousel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pride of Canada Carousel<\/a> has 44 uniquely Canadian \u2013 rideable sculptures crafted from recycled objects! Chippewa Park &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chippewapark.ca\/page\/page\/5815182.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">1915 Historic Carousel &amp; Amusement Park<\/a> (Thunder Bay) has 28 wooden horses &amp; was built in 1915 by the C.W. Parker Company; it\u2019s one of only three left in the world. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roseneathcarousel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Roseneath Carousel<\/a> (1906-2019) is a restored Carousel with 40 wooden horses &amp; 2 boats. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stcatharines.ca\/en\/experiencein\/lakesideparkcarousel.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Lakeside Park Carousel<\/a> in Port Dalhousie is a fully restored &amp; working 1903 Carousel.
