Winter Camping & Accommodations in Gatineau Park
Experience the joys of winter in a ready-to-camp unit in the heart of Gatineau Park. Cabins, yurts and four-season tents are located close to the trails, just a few kilometres from the parking lot in Philippe Lake sector. Enjoy an early-morning ski or snowshoe on one of the largest winter trail networks in North America. Come nightfall, relax by the fire with a warm meal.
In winter, 13 ready-to-camp units in the Philippe Lake, Renaud Lake and Taylor Lake sector offer more comfort and amenities for campers. Each unit includes bunk beds, table and chairs, cooking items, solar-powered light, wood stove, refrigerator or cooler, cooking surface and parking for one vehicle (located between 2.6 and 5.6 km from the site). Dry toilet on-site. No services (electricity, water or sewers) at the site. Amenities vary by unit. Gatineau Park has four individual winter campsites for tents. Each site includes a fire pit with grill, picnic table and parking for one vehicle (located 2.6 km from the site). Firewood is included. A new starting point is available for campers: parking lot P20 (Breton Beach). Registration is still required at the first aid kiosk, at P19B.?
The maximum number of people allowed in Philippe Cabin is limited to 10 until further notice.?
The Lusk Lake Cabin is for campers only, and will not be used as a day shelter, from December 1 to April 15.
