Northern Lights Sound and Light Show - Summer 2019

Description

Northern Lights is an impressive 30-minute multimedia show set against the backdrop of the iconic Parliament Buildings. The experience takes the audience on an unforgettable journey of sound and light through Canada’s history and highlights the country’s important milestones. This year, the show highlights the 50th anniversary of the Official Languages Act and the 35th anniversary of the first Canadian in space.

We provide deaf or hard-of-hearing visitors with live, on-site simultaneous interpretation on certain nights during the 2019 season. Sign language interpretation evenings will be held on Fridays, July 12, August 2 and September 6.

Taking in the show for the first time? Bring chairs & blankets to enjoy the view from the lawn.

Show times: in July at 10:00 p.m., in August at 9:30 p.m., and in September at 9:00 p.m.
