Have they ever been to a “rock concert” for reading? This is their chance – be part of the largest literary event for young readers in Canada, the Festival of Trees! Every year, almost 12,000 young readers, parents, teachers, and library staff attend the Festival of Trees in Toronto for fun-filled days of award ceremonies, autographing, workshops with authors/illustrators, exciting activities and games (for chances to win prizes and books), plus local entertainment to keep everyone excited! Winning authors and illustrators of the Forest of Reading programs will be presented with awards for the Blue Spruce, Silver Birch, Red Maple, White Pine, Le Prix Peuplier, Le Prix Tamarac, and Le Prix Tamarac Express programs.  Don’t miss out on Canada’s largest literary Festival for young readers!
