Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority's Learn to Fish Day
Join the GRCA’s Fisheries Biologist at this fun and educational event learning how to fish at the Garden Hill Conservation Area. You’ll walk away knowing how to rig, bait and cast a fishing rod, identify local fish species, and fish safely and sustainably.
If participants have their own fishing gear, we ask that you bring it; otherwise, equipment can be borrowed through the OFAH TackleShare Program on-site. Bait will be provided, as well as a fishing license to take part in the Learn to Fish program. Please bring a lifejacket, sunscreen, and a smile!
$15.00/participant. Pre-registration is required by calling 905.885.8173. Children must be 8 years or older to participate.
