OrKidstra: LIVE in Concert! is a joyful celebration of music and community that you won’t want to miss! Join us at Ottawa’s beautiful Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 6:30 PM to celebrate OrKidstra’s return to LIVE. The free, in-person concert will feature an exciting array of pieces, including music from a galaxy far, far away! The innovative show will also include stories of resilience from OrKidstra students, virtual performances from OrKidstra @ Home, a send-off for our 2022 grads, special guests, and much more! FREE – donations supporting OrKidstra’s mission to empower kids and build community through music are welcome (tickets not required). Bring a friend and see you there! Parking for Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (355 Cooper St., Ottawa) is available off Lisgar Street, and street parking is also available. Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre is also a short walk from the OC Transpo Parliament O-Train station. Both the Lisgar and Cooper entrances are wheelchair accessible. Doors will open just after 6 PM – seating is general admission and audience members are encouraged to physically distance themselves where possible. The show will run for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Although the event will not be live-streamed, please stay tuned for a broadcast of concert highlights which will be available later in June.
