The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival is Canada's premier a cappella festival with all the amazing sounds of the naked human voice (no instrumental accompaniment) come together for two weeks of glorious singing in many styles, including jazz, folk, gospel, choral, world, barbershop and more. Events include free outdoor concerts in the Distillery District on weekend afternoons, ticketed concerts in various theatres and clubs, free late-night events in pubs, and workshops on a cappella singing. This year there is a special mass choir event open to choirs an individuals who register to participate.
