  •  Add to Calendar 2019-06-01 2019-06-01 America/Toronto Spring Classic Calisthenics Competition The 2019 Spring Classic Calisthenics Competition is the biggest competition put together by Calisthenics Canada. It is a true test of foundation bodyweight exercises, strength and stamina. Last year we had over 40 competitors leave everything on the ground as they battled to prove what they're made of! This year, we're making a few changes in the structure and the exercises. Official rules will be released on April 1st, 2019 so stay tuned for that. All competitors will receive: Competition T-Shirt Athlete Kit Access to athlete lounge Access to athlete changeroom We will have 2 main categories: OPEN and ELITE OPEN: Perfect for anyone who's trying to test their strength. If it's your first time competing and are not sure where you stand, the OPEN competition is for you! Male and Female Categories competing in: Max pull ups Max push ups Max squats Max dips Max leg raises 2 minute timecap for each exercise with a 30 second rest in between. All done in a single heat Winners for each category and overall winner (most overall reps) ELITE: You have been doing calisthenics and want to elevate and compete with the best of the best. For the elites, we have the pre-requisite of being able to do a clean muscle up. If you meet that requirement then, you're eligible to compete in the ELITE category. Unisex Category competing in: Max muscle ups (unbroken) Max push ups (2 minute timecap) Max pull ups (unbroken) Max squats (2 minute timecap) Max toes to bar (unbroken) Max dips (2 minute timecap) *Unbroken = without dropping.
