It usually occurs during the last weekend in August in downtown Toronto. It attracts a lot of visitors every year. In the past 5 years, we have been working on the series “Dialogues with Asia”. "Dialogues with Asia" is a series that explores art and culture from various Asian countries. We focus on one country each year and explore their relationships with Taiwan and Canada. In the past few years, we have covered Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam. In those series, we held various events from installation arts to music concerts including "The Face Culture", "The Paper Play", "My Butterfly Effect '' and "Friendship Kitchen" respectively. In those series, we learnt more about their culture and relationships with Taiwan. After a few successful series, we will be launching our 5th edition of "Dialogues with Asia" and will be covering South Korea. Just like Taiwan, South Korea has gone through different historical events that shape its culture today, they both share similar history but yet different. In this edition, we will introduce cultural programs from colorful artwork and paintings to films and documentaries about stories of the musicians and artists.
