Whether you want to visit a Christmas Market, catch some beautiful holiday light displays, or find an outdoor adventure, we have something for everyone’s interests. We’ve put together some of the most instagrammable spots all over Ontario that you don’t want to miss!

GREATER TORONTO AREA

article1dec142021.jpgPut your winter boots on, we’ve got a winter trail ready for you to walk and take tons of selfies! The Angus Glen Golf Club is hosting their first ever walking light show experience called the Fairway of Lights. This 1 km walking trail is on the North course of the golf course with tons of interactive displays, live entertainment, live ice carving, fire entertainers, Princess characters and more. Many photo opportunities along the walking trail, so keep your phone out! For more information and tickets, click here. The Evergreen Brick Works Market is only open for a short time, from December 17th – December 22nd. Bring your skates or rent skates for $5 to skate around the ice rink through a frosty garden. OTTAWA

article2dec142021.jpgWith so many photo ops at the Ottawa Christmas Market, it’s hard to choose just one! This market is filled with Instagram worthy photo spots to make your feed sparkle.  One of our favourites is the #XMAS sign.  Make sure to snap a selfie or a group photo in front of the lit-up sign when you visit the market.  The Ottawa Christmas Market is located in the Casino Lac-Leamy Plaza surrounded by heritage buildings and wooden chalets. Visit the market to experience spectacular Christmas lights, decorations, holiday entertainment, delicious foods, and wrap up your Christmas shopping with locals gifts from tons of different vendors. Get your camera ready for all the bright lights at the Magic of Lights Ottawa at Wesley Clover Parks. This drive-thru light show is a 2 km route with almost 1,000,000 lights! Don’t forget to snap a pic of the 40 ft dancing Mega Tree that plays all the best holiday songs and the Enchanting Tunnel of Lights.  You’ll have a ton of sparkling and dazzling photos to post after your visit.

CENTRAL ONTARIO

article3dec142021.jpgA winter experience unlike any other and the perfect selfie location – the Suspension Bridge at the Scenic Caves Nordic Centre. This 420 ft suspension bridge is 1 km long and can be travelled in the winter via snowshoeing. Be prepared to take a ton of photos with all the stunning views of Georgian Bay completely surrounding you in every direction. This is the perfect place to bring the family over the holidays for some outdoor fun and some beautiful winter photos! Last park admission is 3:30 pm each day and a trail pass is required. Dinner and one of a kind selfie opportunity? Yes, please!  The Snowglobes at Hockley Valley Resort is a one-of-a-kind experience in Ontario that is the perfect holiday dinner spot.  The Snowglobes sit up to 6 people with twinkling lights, whatever music you’d like, faux fur throws, and an outdoor heater to keep you warm!  Your dinner consists of a 5-course meal with wine pairings.  Talk about the ultimate experience! If this doesn’t sound perfect enough already, don’t forget to capture all of this on camera for some drool worth photos.  Between the food, atmosphere, and company, you’re going to have too many photos to choose from to share!

SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO

article4dec142021.jpgThis is the perfect holiday boardwalk and photo spot!  Only 1 km long, this trail runs through exquisite ice formations as one of the coolest trails in Point Pelee National Park. Grab a warm drink, put on your boots on and get your camera ready – the views will have you wanting to capture every part of the trail.  The frozen marsh and ice formations make for incredible photos with a backdrop sure to glisten. A visit to the Country Bright Farm is the holiday photo opportunity you’ve been looking for. With life sized globes, light displays, holiday music and more, this immersive experience is set in 19th century barns.  Imagine the great photos you’ll get in-between all the beautiful lights and unique globes.
