What are YOU going to do this weekend?            June 26, 2012
Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Cars aren’t the only way to travel Ontario this summer. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful scenic tour or you’re ready to gear up, speed up and go, here are some great activities to try.

Have you ever dreamed of being a pilot? Well, now you can find out what it's like in an F/A-18 flight simulator. Once you get in the cockpit of one of these jet fighters, you’ll forget you’re still on the ground. Go on your mission solo or bring a friend and go head-to-head for Top Gun bragging rights.

All aboard!  This vintage train from the 1920’s will tour you around the countryside. Your conductor will teach you about the history of the railway in Canada as you travel the way people did almost one hundred years ago. It’s a fun way to celebrate a special occasion too – you can party in the baggage car section of the train as it travels around.

What could be a better way to see all the sites than from the sky?! These airplanes will take you all around the gorgeous Georgian Bay. Choose from 3 different tours and see the amazing landscapes and sites. Bring your camera because this is a trip you won’t want to forget.

On your mark, get set, go! Feel what it’s like to be a racecar driver by testing the track here. The perfect place for club level drivers but amateurs are welcome too! You can get a full day with a professional instructor if you’re new to track driving. This isn’t go-karting – it’s the real deal.

It’s time to enjoy the amazing summer weather. We’ve got all the tours that will get you out and around Ontario on our sightseeing tours page. For tours on rails or on water, check out all the boat and train excursions.
