Summer Fun Guide sfg_header_rev.jpg

What are YOU going to do this weekend?            March 8, 2012
Team Spirit

When we think of halls of fame, we think of Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky and Calvin Griffith. They are all Canadian sports legends whose names will forever remain in Ontario’s Halls of Fame! However, Ontario doesn’t just recognize sports superstars. How about lesser known superlatives such as one of the weirdest artifacts in the world: the original Ecuadorian Shrunken Head? For those who are passionate about famous sports figures or legends of strangeness, come down and check out the places dedicated to the games you know or the things you can hardly believe!

It’s always hockey night in Canada when you visit one of Ontario’s most well known attractions. This thrilling experience allows you to see the world’s largest collection of hockey artifacts, visit a replica NHL dressing room, and touch hockey’s most prized possession; the Stanley Cup.

This interactive hockey museum pays homage to one of the greatest players of all time; Bobby Orr. The exhibits include Orr’s NHL rings, a number of his trophies and awards, some of the jerseys he played in, a pictorial history and more!

This Hall of Fame is a home run when it comes to knowing and archiving everything baseball. Canada has a rich baseball heritage, and this hall has enshrined the legends that changed the name of the game forever!

Shocking and astonishing families for years, this museum showcases a collection of odd, strange, and unbelievable artifacts from many different countries. The mind-blowing displays will have you in awe, questioning what you’re seeing before your very eyes.

If you live and breathe sports and artifacts, then Ontario’s Halls of Fame are perfect for you. Whether you’re a sports fanatic or have a curiosity for little known facts & illusions, there’s something for you and your whole family! For more ideas, visit our Major Attractions page.
