Billie Bear Resort

Description

Billie Bear Resort offers the old-fashioned Muskoka cottage experience in a setting that lets you be as social or as private as you like. We’re all about family and friends.

Since 1906, Billie Bear has provided guests a with a refreshing renewal amid the water, forest, and rock of Muskoka. We continue that tradition of providing modern comfort and convenience in an historically rustic setting. Enjoy more than five kilometres of hiking trails, an assortment of complimentary watercraft, and over 800 feet of shoreline on Bella Lake, a large, clean lake close to Huntsville, Ontario.

Step out your cottage door to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, volleyball or tennis, and daily family programs.

Free use of all our non-motorized watercraft including canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and pedal boats. Motorized boats are available for rental.

Catch some sun on our deck, join a game of volleyball, relax in the shade on the beach, or play with your kids in our roped swimming area.

Go walking on Billie Bear’s 5 ½ kilometres of trails. Our three trails – Red, Blue, and Yellow – wander through some 90 acres of Billie Bear property. The trailhead begins just across the Billie Bear Road from our centre driveway, and the trails connect to offer a variety of routes.

All cottages have full or efficiency kitchens equipped with cookware, kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses, and cutlery.

Explore the district whether your interests lie in art and craft galleries, natural surroundings, heritage sites, or picturesque Muskoka.
