At Theatre Collingwood, we present live, professional theatre at the Historic Gayety Theatre in Collingwood. Our 2019 Summer Theatre Season includes:

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11th: The LOVE Cabaret
Join us for an evening of music and comedy featuring Canada’s top musical theatre/stage performers!

FRIDAY, MARCH 8TH: GIRLS NITE OUT
Girls Nite Out is an all-female, all funny, mix of stand-up and improv comedy. Led by the fearless & fabulous, Elvira Kurt, these Canadian Comedy Award Winners, CBC darlings and Second City alumni will make you laugh and cry (tears of laughter!) as they celebrate womanhood.

APRIL 4th & 5th: ONE STEP AT A TIME
A theatrical testimony to the power of faith, love and teamwork, in which a stay at home father learns to balance a successful career in the performing arts while raising two daughters, and anticipating the arrival of a son diagnosed with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

THURSDAY APRIL 25th: DAN NEEDLES – TRUE CONFESSIONS FROM THE NINTH CONCESSION
A loving and humorous look at rural life in story and song.

MAY 21-25: Where You Are
Comedy – Drama
Sisters Glenda and Suzanne live a peaceful retirement selling homemade jam on Manitoulin Island. This summer, their usual concerns are complicated by a secret the sisters can no longer contain.

JUNE 19th-22nd: LOUISE PITRE – From Piaf to Mamma Mia
Concert/One woman show with accompaniment.
Following her performance in the Canadian Stage Company’s production of Next To Normal in April/May 2019, Louise Pitre will be making her way to Collingwood to perform in a very intimate show highlighting her magnificent musical career portraying the legendary Edith Piaf to the starring role in Mamma Mia, and everything in between!

JULY 9TH-13TH: SUMMER OF ’69
A sunny celebration of one of the most iconic years in music & pop culture, with songs from The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis and The Guess Who, to television classics like Hee Haw and Sesame Street.

AUGUST 20-24: BESIDE MYSELF
Comedy – Musical. Book & Lyrics by Norm Foster. Music by Steve Thomas
What would you do if you could hit the re-set button on a stale marriage?

SEPTEMBER 24th – 28th: OPRY GOLD
Opry Gold is a toe-tappin’, roof-raisin’, salute to the greatest music in the history of Country Music!

Wednesday, November 20th – Friday, November 22nd 8pm each evening: SOUL SISTERS
Soul Sister’s tells the story of the birth of Soul Music and R&B for women.
