The show focuses on fine art and craft with a splash of gourmet food. A curated selection of 80 artists from across Ontario, Quebec and beyond will be exhibiting their art and craft throughout the Historic Distillery District. You will discover paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass art, jewellery, designer clothing and more. Live music will infuse the atmosphere for a pleasant tone for the event. Children can drop into the Artfest Kids pavilion for a free art workshop. The Distillery District is a restored industrial property with delightful boutiques tucked away in every nook. The 13 acre site has forty heritage buildings and is the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. The district was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. Cobblestone lanes will lead you on an adventure among ten streets and the central Trinity Square. You will discover a wide variety of authentic cuisine in award winning restaurants, interactive art installations, sculpture, cafes and patios. Make sure you to indulge in the new Spirit of York Distillery Co. for a tour and sampling. Your visit to the show will be a rich experience full of wonder.
