The rock-n-roll musical is showing at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where it first made its North American premiere for six performances only from April 1 – 4, 2026. This operatic rock’n’roll theatrical experience features the timeless music of Jim Steinman and the powerhouse vocals of Meat Loaf. The production explores enduring themes of rebellion, youth, and freedom in a high-octane story where passion defies power and love risks consuming everything in its path. The show includes legendary renditions of rock’s most iconic anthems, including “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”, and “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth.” Directed by Jay Scheib, the new 2026 North American Tour is produced by Michael Cohl, Tony Smith, and David Sonenberg, with executive producers Glenn Orsher and Julian Stoneman. Following its London production—which garnered five-star reviews from The Independent, Daily Mirror, and Daily Express—the show kicks off its Canadian engagement in Toronto at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre (244 Victoria Street).
