en francais....feelings of France by Lisa Litowitz - Oct 28-Nov 8
This new series showcases one year of work from my month in France, including a two week residency and time spent visiting Monet’s gardens at Giverny. This intensive experience allowed me to paint what I saw and felt in the rolling hills, ponds and seductive views of the countryside. Trusting my process and enjoying everyday French life allowed me to develop these luscious landscapes, as an open expression of my feelings of France. Leslie Grove Gallery hours: Wednesday to Sunday 12-5 PM. Opening reception will take place on Thursday, October 29 from 6-8 PM. An Artist Talk on Sunday Nov 1, 2-3 pm and a Hooking Workshop on Saturday Nov 7, 2-4 pm. Details at https://www.artistsnetwork.ca/patrons-calendar.
