Each round consists of 20 minutes, and the winning artists are decided by the vote of spectators. Easels are arranged so that spectators can watch the live painting process as they prepare to cast their vote. From the first round the top 6 artists will compete in the second round with fresh canvases, from the second round the remaining 3 artists will compete for the winning spot. Spectators pay an entrance fee and the pool of their combined ticket prices will go to the winning artist, as well artists are welcome to sell their art at the competition giving all competitors exposure and a chance to profit from their art. Registration is free, and canvases, paints, water, easels, mixing pallets and cleaning supplies are provided by the competition, artists need only bring their own brushes (and other non-mechanical tools) so consider this an amazing way to showcase (and hopefully make money off) your talent, without having to cover the expensive costs of materials.
