River Lights Winter Festival
Visit a town immersed in the holiday spirit!Every night, hundreds of customized LED light displays light up the town’s two main parks. King’s Navy Yard Park, along the Detroit River, features traditional displays that showcase the warm hearted feel of the season with carolers, angels, soldiers and more. Toddy Jones Park features whimsical, playful displays for the kids and the kid at heart to enjoy.The Gingerbread Warming House returns to Toddy Jones Park Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (from November 18 until December 23) between 5:30-8:30pm. Stop by to warm up, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate sponsored by Tim Hortons, take a look at the annual Gingerbread House contest submissions, and take part in the free children’s crafts and story time.
