Sensory Saturday at Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery
Join us for an accessible gallery experience designed for neurodiverse visitors, including visitors on the autism spectrum, people with sensory processing needs, or those wanting a more sensory-friendly experience.Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.FREE | Drop inSensory Saturday will now be on the third Saturday of every month, starting 17 May.Join us for an inclusive gallery experience designed specifically for neurodiverse visitors. KWAG’s Sensory Saturdays is a monthly all-day program that engages individuals of all ages and neurodiversity, including ADHD, ASD, OCD, and Sensory Processing Disorder, throughout their gallery journey. Our Sensory Environment is available all day and features a variety of sensory devices, such as liquid tiles, wiggle chairs, texture tiles, and weighted animals and blankets. These devices provide support for calmness, focus, and comfort, helping visitors with self-regulation.The KWAG Sensory Environment has been made possible through funding from Kitchener Rotary.
