An afternoon of fun with a full line up of programmes which are appropriate for families and adults of all ages! Stop by to visit us on Sunday September 23rd from 1-5 pm for a full day of harvest time fun! We’ll be bringing in the sheaves with a vintage threshing bee featuring historic working threshing machines and a display of classic tractors. The sound of hammers and shears will be ringing all over the site with demonstrations of blacksmithing, sheep shearing, and rope making all afternoon. No harvest would be complete without a good old fashioned hoe-down! Musicians and square dancing will be happening on our historic 1877 barn floor! If you’ve built up an appetite from all that dancing, there will be refreshments available for purchase! So remember to come and see us at the Wellington County Museum on September 23rd 2018 from 1-5 pm. Bring your whole family, your best work ethic, and your dancing shoes, and we’ll send you home with sore muscles, an intrigued mind, and a full belly! 0536 Wellington County Rd 18, Fergus, ON N1M 2W3 Justin Clouthier justinc@wellington.ca
