Binbrook Conservation Area

Description

Come visit Binbrook Conservation Area! You'll enjoy the Lake Niapenco reservoir, the largest inland lake in the Niagara Watershed.

People come from far and wide to fish at Binbrook. It is well known as a fishing “hot spot” and regularly hosts fishing derbies. Binbook also features a sandy beach, children’s splash pad, picnic facilities, nature trails, observation platforms and a play area. It resembles cottage country, and it’s close to home!

Bring or rent a rowboat, paddle boat or canoe, and experience scenic Binbrook from the water. Canoe along the tranquil shores of one of the few inland lakes located within the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority’s watershed.

Fish in Lake Niapenco for northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, white and black crappie, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, rock bass, brown bullhead, and carp. This area features a boat launch and a wheelchair user accessible fishing pier. Many fishing derbies are held here each year.

Join us at Binbrook for a memorable day this summer!
