Description

AfroJazz Fest is one of the largest multicultural festivals in Ontario.
AfroJazz Fest aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of African and Caribbean cultures in the Peel-Halton area through performing arts, visual arts, music, food, storytelling and more.
The festival is held once a year on the last weekend in August. More than 12 professional artists from different communities will entertain the public and share with the community, the richness of Afro-Caribbean history and culture during the 2023 edition.

Program: Cultural and dance parade, live musical performances (Zouk, Kompa, Rumba, Soca dance, Calypso, Tropical escape show, Salsa, Reggae, Afro-soul, traditional African music, etc.), interactive activities (drum circle, traditional African and Caribbean dance workshop, and many others), family entertainment, activities for children.
