Description

Between December and March, the Nordic Centre offers 27 km. of cross-country ski trails groomed daily for skate and classic styles. Snowshoe across the Suspension Bridge or explore 10 km of pristine trails. Warm up by a roaring fire in the rustic chalet, serving delicious hot foods/drinks. Also available: guided night snowshoe hikes, equipment rentals (including baby pulks), waxing hut and lessons. Explore caves, caverns and crevasses carved millions of years ago by glacial ice, and savour the breathtaking lookouts from the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment, set in one of Canada's UNESCO biosphere reserves.

Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is one of Canada's "great natural wonders". Take a self-guided walking trail, learn about the First Nations' Huron Petun tribe, discover 17 unique geological rock features. Venture across Southern Ontario's longest 420 ft. Suspension Footbridge for spectacular views of 10,000 sq. kml of Georgian Bay and countryside.

Soar on the Thunderbird Twin Zip Line featuring technology allowing each rider to ride side by side, controlling their own speed.

Hitch a ride on Rocky the train, explore the Children's Adventure Playground, pan for gemstones at the man-made Gemstone Mining Tower, play a round of mini golf, feed the fish in the trout pond, enjoy our picnic areas, snack bar and gift shop.

Open seven days a week, May to October. Sorry, no pets; running shoes required.

LImited activities are also available during the transitional months of April / November (weather permitting).

Scenic Caves is a designated Canadian and Ontarian "Signature Experience" - a genuine showcase of Canada's people, geography and culture.
