Hamilton AfroJazz Fest - July 11 -12, 2026

Hamilton AfroJazz Fest is a free two-day festival celebrating the richness and diversity of African, Caribbean and Afro-descendant cultures through music, dance, arts, food and cultural experiences. The festival brings together residents, visitors and tourists to discover vibrant traditions, creativity and cultural heritage while fostering inclusion, cultural exchange and community engagement.

The festival provides opportunities for local, national and international artists, artisans, entrepreneurs and community organizations to showcase their talents and connect with diverse audiences. Through live performances, interactive workshops and family-friendly activities, Hamilton AfroJazz Fest promotes cultural understanding, civic pride and economic development while creating memorable experiences for attendees of all ages.

Held at Bayfront Park on Hamilton’s scenic waterfront, Hamilton AfroJazz Fest is one of the city’s most exciting multicultural summer celebrations. Visitors can enjoy live music, DJs, African and Caribbean dance performances, percussion workshops, artisan vendors, authentic cuisine, cultural exhibits, children’s activities, inflatable attractions, traditional games and much more.

The 2026 edition will take place on July 11 and 12 and is expected to attract visitors from Hamilton, the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario.

Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome.

Presented by the Centre canadien pour l’unité de la famille (CCF), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through cultural, educational and social initiatives.
