Kap Kraze Tailgate-Country-Derby July 17 - 18, 2026

Get ready for Kap Kraze, Kapuskasing’s ultimate summer festival, happening July 17–18, 2026! Kick things off Friday with the high-energy Tailgate Party, featuring opening ceremonies, live music, kids’ inflatables, fireworks, JED the Mechanical Bull, and new this year—axe throwing. The night wraps up with a performance by Canadian country artist Marshall Dane, known for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence.

Saturday brings the main event: the Kap Kraze Demolition Derby, presented by Edge Motorsports. This year’s MUSIC theme features creatively designed cars inspired by iconic songs and artists. Fan-favourite categories return alongside exciting new additions like Figure 8 Racing and Full Size Tag Team, delivering nonstop, action-packed entertainment.

The weekend culminates with a live country concert featuring headliner Tim Hicks, award-winning artist behind hits like “Stronger Beer,” alongside rising star Zach McPhee and crowd-favourite DJ Johnny Rivex.

More than just music and motors, Kap Kraze offers fun for all ages with a Kids’ Zone, face painting, games, marketplace vendors, and the popular Power Wheels Derby for young drivers.
