4 Scintillating Science & Nature Museums

School’s back in and it’s time to expand your mind with new educational experiences. Why not check out a Science or Nature Museum? They’re fun, interactive & they might even earn you some extra grades!
The Ontario Science Center in Toronto is an amazing place to spend the day & learn all about science & technology in our world. Permanent exhibits include ‘Kidspark’, ‘The Human Edge’, ever- changing Imax Films, Solar Observing & more. There are always new exhibits as well – including the very cool ‘Science of Rock & Roll’ on now until Oct. 26.
Science North in Sudbury is celebrating its 30th anniversary and they’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate! There’s the new exhibit ‘Arctic Voices’, Imax movies, a digital planetarium, amazing live science & animal demonstrations & so much more. Try your hand at being a DJ or check out the Flight Simulator. There’s so much for big, little & grown up kids to do.
Explore the world of natural history at this amazing museum in Ottawa. The permanent exhibits & interactive activities will enlighten and educate you about the world of mammals, insects, birds & fish. Learn all about fossils, the origins of the earth & the dinosaurs. Until Nov. 9th, you can visit the ‘Creatures of Light’ exhibit where you will learn all about creatures that produce light – outstanding!
This science museum in Windsor, Ontario aims to foster a love of science in people of all ages. It has plenty of hands on, fun activities & demonstrations to inspire, amaze & educate visitors. Activities & exhibits include fossil digs, shadowland & a human bubble. There are also live animals & ongoing special events
