BEST CORN MAZES IN ONTARIO TO GET LOST IN THIS FALL

By admin Friday, October 2, 2026

There’s something about wandering into a field of corn with absolutely no idea how you’re going to get back out that makes fall in Ontario a little more fun.

Across the province, farms transform their cornfields into giant mazes filled with twists, turns, hidden checkpoints, games and elaborate designs you can only fully appreciate from above. Some are perfect for younger kids, while others let you return after dark with nothing but a flashlight to find your way out.

Even better, many of Ontario’s best corn mazes are part of larger fall festivals with pumpkin patches, wagon rides, farm animals, jumping pillows, corn cannons and plenty of fresh-from-the-farm treats.

KEY POINTS

  • Corn maze season in Ontario generally runs from September through the end of October.
  • Some farms offernighttime or flashlight corn mazes on select October evenings.
  • Many corn mazes are included with admission to larger fall festivals and pumpkin farms.
  • Ontario has mazes ranging from smaller kid-friendly adventures to massive10-acre corn mazes.
  • Conditions can change after heavy rain, so check the farm website before heading out.

CORN MAZES IN EASTERN ONTARIO & OTTAWA

Ouimet Farms Adventure – Vankleek Hill

One of Eastern Ontario’s standout corn mazes can be found at Ouimet Farms Adventure in Vankleek Hill. The 7-acre corn maze has approximately 4 km of trails, three different difficulty levels and hidden mailboxes to find along the way. The wide trails are also stroller and wheelchair friendly.

The maze design changes every year, and the 2026 maze celebrates the invention of the telephone. Once you make it out, stick around for the jumping pillow, pedal karts, giant slides, gem mining, pumpkin patch and impressive POPSILO artwork.

Saunders Farm – Ottawa

Saunders Farm has been creating mazes for decades, but there’s much more happening here than a traditional walk through a cornfield.

For Ottawa’s 200th anniversary, Saunders Farm created a special Ottawa 200 Corn Maze featuring interactive exhibits and stories about Ottawa’s history and agricultural roots. During the fall, the farm switches gears for PumpkinFest during the day and the much scarier FrightFest after dark.

If your idea of getting lost in a maze becomes considerably more fun once darkness falls, Saunders is one to put on the list.

CORN MAZES IN CENTRAL ONTARIO

Rounds Ranch – Elmvale

At Rounds Ranch in Elmvale, the corn maze is only one part of a full day of fall fun. The ranch has more than 25 activities, including zip lines, a petting zoo, tractor rides, giant slides, jumping pillows and several different maze experiences.

For an entirely different challenge, visit on a Saturday night in October for the Flashlight Corn Maze. Bring your own flashlight and try to navigate the maze after dark before warming up around the campfire. Pumpkin Mania admission also includes a pick-your-own pumpkin.

CORN MAZES IN THE GTA

Cooper’s CSA Farm & Maze – Zephyr

The maze is the star of the show at Cooper’s CSA Farm & Maze.

Their 10-acre corn maze combines getting lost with a little trivia. Answer the themed questions correctly and you’ll be pointed in the right direction. Get them wrong and you may be spending a little more time among the corn stalks than you planned.

The 2026 Fall Festival runs September 19 to November 1, with weekend activities, pumpkin picking and special Friday Night Maze Walks throughout October. There are also weekday “Mild Maze Days” on Thursdays and Fridays for anyone who wants a quieter trip through the maze.

Downey’s Farm – Caledon

With more than 8 km of trails, the corn maze at Downey’s Farm is one of the biggest fall maze adventures on this list.

The design changes every year, and for 2026 the maze has an Alice in Wonderland theme. Families can choose from different challenges, including a shorter Animal Hide & Seek Mini Maze for younger kids or longer games through the full maze that can take up to an hour to complete.

The corn maze is included with admission, and Downey’s Pumpkinfest runs through October 31, so you can easily turn the maze into a full fall farm day with pumpkins and plenty of other activities.

Hanes Corn Maze – Dundas

A fall tradition for 25 years, Hanes Corn Maze in Dundas is a massive 20-acre corn maze filled with twists, turns and a brand-new design each season. With that much corn to navigate, this is one of the biggest maze adventures on our list!

Admission to the main maze also includes Hanes Farmland, where families can explore a mini maze, meet and feed friendly farm animals, race around on pedal karts and enjoy swings, play structures and a sandbox. The mini maze is especially great for younger kids ages 3 and up.

Before heading home, stop by The Tiny Shop Bakery for homemade pies, butter tarts and other freshly baked treats — the perfect reward after finding your way out of 20 acres of corn!

CORN MAZES IN SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO

Kustermans Adventure Farm – Mount Brydges

Just outside London, Kustermans Adventure Farm has a 7-acre corn maze as part of its annual Fall Festival.

The 2026 maze has an alternative energy theme, with a Mini Maze for younger kids and a larger maze for anyone looking for more of a challenge. Admission to the Fall Festival also includes access to more than 40 farm attractions, plus the corn cannon, with inflatables and face painting available on weekends.

There’s also a 10-acre pumpkin patch, making this an easy place to check both corn maze and pumpkin picking off your fall bucket list.

Snyder’s Family Farm – Bright

Snyder’s Family Farm has a 5-acre corn maze designed for all ages. Instead of simply following a map, visitors can use the spinner game to determine which way to go next — meaning you may end up taking a completely different route each time you visit.

The daytime farm experience also includes a hayride, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, jumping pillows, pedal carts, giant slide, play areas and more than 25 attractions.

Looking for something much scarier? After dark, the property becomes Fear Farm, with seven haunted attractions for the 2026 Halloween season.

Strom’s Farm & Bakery – Guelph

The corn maze at Strom’s Farm & Bakery isn’t just about finding your way out.

Their 5-acre maze has more than 5 km of paths and supports a different community organization each year. For 2026, the maze supports the Ontario Autism Program at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph, with nine educational stations located throughout the maze.

Want to make it harder? Strom’s also offers its Night Maze on select October evenings, when visitors tackle the corn maze with flashlights. The 2026 night dates are October 17, 21–24 and 28–30, with select evenings also featuring Glow Nights, line dancing and live music.

TRY A CORN MAZE AFTER DARK

Walking through a corn maze on a sunny fall afternoon is one thing. Walking into one after sunset with only a flashlight is an entirely different experience.

Several Ontario farms now offer nighttime maze experiences, including Rounds Ranch, Cooper’s CSA Farm and Strom’s Farm. Some are simply classic corn mazes after dark, while other farms turn up the Halloween factor with haunted attractions nearby.

Just remember to bring a flashlight, wear shoes you don’t mind getting muddy and don’t assume the person who confidently says, “I’m pretty sure it’s this way,” actually knows where they’re going.

Getting lost is half the fun!
